Your yard or garden isn’t just a place where you grow vegetables or flowers. You are creating gardening experiences. It’s a place of wonder, where butterfly’s visit your flowers, you grow fresh healthy veggies for your family, and take pride knowing that growing your own food helps your family eat healthy, while you marvel at the miracle of a small seed becoming a bountiful source of food.
You pass on your gardening traditions to your kids with garden crafts (you have a killer Pintrest garden crafts board) and spending time with them by attending events at local parks and gardens.
Creating gardening experiences, based on scientifically researched, consumer based information is overwhelming.
Don’t you hate it when there is one thing that gets you stuck?
I sort through it for you, and it becomes totally doable. Where ever you’re at.
For years, I wondered what an Interior Design Degree, Agriculture Degree, a Deaf-Blind kid, being outdoorsy, AND being super artsy-crafty mom had in common.
One day I realized it embodies who I am as a South Dakota Master Gardener.
My superpower is guiding you to unlock where you get stuck gardening, so you can become the gardener you secretly desire to be.

HI, nice to meet you. I am an avid gardener and past coordinator for the Vermillion Community garden. I would like to put you down as a reviewer for an article my colleague and I wrote for HortTech, a journal of the American Society Horticulture Science. If you would be willing to be a reviewer I would need your email. Christine
